The Mount Pearl Lion's Club this week made a cash donation of $2,956 to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, which operates three food banks in the area. Part of the donations were given by residents attending the Lion’s Mount Pearl Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, with Scotiabank also contributing $500 to the amount.
