Paradise business park on track

Work is ongoing on the new Paradise shopping plaza, but residents shouldn’t expect to be making any purchases until the end of summer.

“It’s been a tough winter this year for construction, so we’ve had to adjust to that… we’d rather do things properly, (even) if it takes a little bit longer,” ARLE Properties president Roberto Di Giorgio told The Shoreline. “We want to make sure it’s an attractive, easy-to-shop area for the residents of Paradise.”

He explains that tenants, such as Starbucks, Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollarama, and East Side Mario’s, will take possession by Spring of 2019, with stores opening by the end of summer and early fall.

“Anywhere between August, September, October, that’s when the majority, if not all of the stores, will be opening.”

Di Giorgio said that a slew other stores have signed, and that an official announcement will be made sometime in May.
