Two Drivers Arrested In Mount Pearl

Police in Mount Pearl arrested two drivers in separate incidents on Monday.

At 2:00 p.m., during a traffic stop, RNC Patrol Services found that the 66-year-old male driver was disqualified from operating in Canada. As a result, the accused was arrested and held at the lockup for a court appearance in the morning. His vehicle was also impounded.

And at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday morning, Patrol Services responded to a report regarding a possible impaired driver. Following a brief investigation, a 23-year-old man was charged with impaired driving. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
