The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying the man responsible for a recent armed robbery in Mount Pearl. On Monday, October 15 just before 3:00 a.m., officers with RNC’s Operational Patrol Services Division and Police Dog Services responded to the Irving Service Station at 22 Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl to a report of an armed robbery. Staff reported that a lone male entered the store armed with a weapon and fled with an undisclosed
amount of cash prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported as a result of this robbery. The suspect is described as a clean shaven Caucasian man in his 20s, approximately 6’ tall with a slender build. At the time of the robbery the man was wearing jeans, a grey jacked with dark grey stripes and had on rectangle glasses.
